I'LL GIVE YOU TEN DOLLARS FOR A VERBAL RESPONSE
What's happened to Curb Your Enthusiasm on More4?
This week's episode seems to have vanished, replaced - last night - with a jumble of unrelated, unexceptional programmes. Worse, next week the channel's entire Monday night has been given over to...back-to-back Phoenix Nights!
There were only two episodes left in the series as well. I know More4 has always been loathe to treat the show with any respect, but this is, well, diabolical.

Well, seemingly this week it was dropped for Iraq Week, but quite why they decided to drop the only new programme in a sea of repeats, God alone knows.
I thik it's back in two weeks, not that More4 can be bothered telling us that. Channel Four love everything about the likes of Curb and The West Wing apart from actually having to show them, don't they?
That said, I'm quite happy about the break as I thought last week's was the most infuriating of the lot. Listen to Larry, for God's sake!

Come on, last week's Curb was ace! Larry's expression when he was sitting in the doctor's bedroom was worth the 30 minutes alone! And also: "Could you interpret this note for me?" "Never mind the fucking note!" And: "Tell me your life wouldn't be better without the Blacks." And: "You didn't do the '1 Mississippi'"...
I'm quite surprised that the west episode of Curb went out without any sort of fanfare, given that it had Steve Coogan as a quite prominent guest star. Even I, a die-hard Curb fan, didn't realise it was on until the last minute, having assumed More4 had dropped the series mid-run.
I agree there have been a few things in this series that seem contrived, but that's always been the case with Curb, surely? I always watch it knowing I'll likely have to forgive a couple of episodes for being overly contrived, or a little too keen to shock.
Oh, word of advice - NEVER watch Curb with headphones on. All the overdubs becoming very obvious when you do that!
